Google Searches Hit All Time Low
For over 10 years, Google has controlled over 75% of the search engine market. Their reign seemed to be as unbeatable as the chance that Microsoft Windows would stop being sold on all new PCs. For the first time in 7 years, Google’s share dropped below 75%. But, this slip could show that there maybe a few chinks in Google’s armor. However, the potential uses could help revolutionize how patients are triaged and treated. By placing sensor on a patient’s check, fingers, and arms an Air Force Pararescue Jumper can track multiple patients from his wrist. While he is working on one patient, his computer will alert him if another patient takes a turn for the worst. This allows him to triage and monitor more patients then otherwise possible.
Japan Company Builds Portable Electric Power Generator
This may not seem like a new story. For years, different companies have been working on producing electric power. Traditionally, this was done by placing a large amount of collectors on top of a building or by building large collection farms. One Japanese company created an electricity power generator that is portable. Their goal is to offer power generators to rural parts of the world. This brings power to people that previously never had it available.
